Bats and Beastie!

Hey everyone! Cade and I are very happy that Mike Meyer's thief was caught and that he will be getting back his Superman collection. IT's a wonderful thing to see so many people coming to his aid. People are good!

Guess what else is good? Cade's got some updated superhero pics for your perusal!

Up first, Batman, with, as Cade put it, his cape over his arms "like he's detectiving."

Weirdly, the blue streak only shows up after I upload it to Photobucket. I want to try and fix this. The original scan is clean...help would be appreciated.

Next up, another of Cade's favorites. Beast Boy is depicted here in the episode where he saw a moped he wanted so badly that he, a devout vegan, took a job at a burger place to buy it. Shenanigans ensued, to be sure.

I have a Super kid!

Hi everyone,

Sorry this site hasn't been updated in a while. Life gets in the way sometimes and I'm sure I'll get around to putting more Cade comic masterpieces up soon.

The reason for this update is that I was told about Mike Meyer's story today. When I told Cade about it, he said: "Let's draw him a Superman!"

I couldn't have agreed more. The catch this time, is that Cade told me that I should draw one too. So, I apologize for my art right now, but I couldn't resist.

We're mailing the following drawings to Mike tomorrow along with the following letter that Cade dictated to me. I thought you might like to read it too and maybe it will inspire you to help Mike out too:

Dear Mike,

I am Cade and my father Des is typing this for me. I am five years old and I go to grade one. I'm sorry your feelings are hurt. I felt like I was actually going to cry when I heard about you. I hope you get your Superman stuff back.

My favorite superhero is Batman and Beast Boy, but I like Superman too. I drew a Superman for you, and I hope it makes you happy. I even told my Dad to draw one too!

What are you going to dress as for Halloween? I'm going to be a vampire. I like vampires too. I also like werewolves.

We are sad because what happened to you. I hope our drawings make you happy.

Goodbye.

Up, up and away!

Cade and his Dad, Des.

And now, Cade's drawing:

And now mine, which scanned with blue streaks for some reason. It doesn't make it any worse than it already is. Be kind.

I hope Mike likes them! See the link above for how to help Mike yourself!

Bat-Mite!

Cade, his brother Davin and I love Batman: Brave and the Bold (which they refer to as "Blue Batman").

Imagine my surprise and pride when he delivered this picture to me and I said "Hey, great Batman!" He replied: "No, Dad. It's Bat-Mite!"

Green Lantern Kyle Rayner

This was a framed Christmas gift for Dad from a four year old Cade, but I wanted to share it for two reasons:
1. It is clearly Kyle Rayner for some reason. I thought he only knew Hal and John...
2. The floating GL symbol is very Van Sciver.

My son is an unapologetic modernist.

Hulk Family

Depicted here from left to right: The Incredible Hulk (shouting his catch phrase "Hlek Smash!"), Hulk Dog, Hulk Monkey ("eating a banana chip!") and up above, Pterodactulk stealing the banana chip.

His proud father would like to point out two things:
1. All of them have torn purple pants.
2. Despite the presence of a Hulk Dog, Cade has not seen Ang Lee's Hulk film...yet.

Welcome!

My son's name is Cade. He is five years old and loves to draw superheroes. This site is an archive of those drawings. Enjoy!
